Senior System Engineer with AWS

Amazon Web Services, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Python, DevOps, Bash, Kubernetes

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced remote Senior System Engineer with AWS and 3+ years of relevant work experience.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in AWS core concepts and services, cloud infrastructure management, containerization, CI/CD, configuration management, and observability. They will be responsible for enhancing system stability, performance tuning, system growth, and working closely with customer's teams.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance system stability, performance tuning, and system growth
  • AWS cloud infrastructure change management (implementing Infrastructure-as-Code)
  • Configuration of observability (logging and monitoring)
  • Design and implementation of PaaS (Platform Engineering)
  • Troubleshooting and patching the system
  • CI/CD implementation (as-Code)
  • Work closely with customer's teams
  • Management of Backlog
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Professional experience in AWS concepts and services
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: AWS (CFN, CDK, Terraform)
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
  • CI/CD: Jenkins (Groovy SDK, Jenkinsfile), Gitlab-CI
  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Terraform
  • Observability: DataDog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK, etc
  • AWS Cloud Certification Level: Associate or Professional
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Experience with other cloud platforms and technologies
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
