Senior System Engineer with AWS

Amazon Web Services, Jenkins, Docker, Terraform, Python, DevOps, Bash, Kubernetes

We are seeking a remote Senior System Engineer with AWS expertise to join our team.

The successful candidate will have 3+ years of relevant work experience and in-depth knowledge in AWS core concepts and services, as well as the ability to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure using native AWS or open-source tools. They will be responsible for enhancing system stability, performance tuning, and system growth, as well as working closely with customer's teams and managing the backlog.

Responsibilities
  • Enhance the system stability, performance tuning, and system growth
  • AWS Cloud Infrastructure Change management (implementing Infrastructure-as-Code)
  • Configuration of Observability (Logging and Monitoring)
  • Design and Implementations of PaaS (Platform Engineering)
  • Troubleshooting and patching the system
  • CI/CD Implementation (as-Code)
  • Working closely with customer's teams
  • Backlog Management
Requirements
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • Professional experience and in-depth knowledge in AWS core concepts and services
  • Cloud Infrastructure Management: AWS (CFN, CDK, Terraform)
  • Containerization: Docker, Kubernetes (K8s)
  • CI/CD: Jenkins (Groovy SDK, Jenkinsfile), Gitlab-CI
  • Configuration Management: Ansible, Terraform
  • Observability: DataDog, Dynatrace, Prometheus, ELK, etc
  • B2+ English level
Nice to have
  • Cloud Certification Level
  • Experience with Cloud Native frameworks
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and best practices
