We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team. Our client, a leading provider of online payment services, is looking to expand its infrastructure capabilities. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable infrastructure as code solutions to support our client's growing business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code solutions that meet business requirements
- Develop and maintain automation tools and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual work
- Ensure high availability and reliability of systems by implementing monitoring and alerting solutions
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards
- Mentor and train junior team members to increase knowledge and expertise within the team
- Participate in code review sessions to ensure high-quality code is being produced
- Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues with infrastructure and applications before they impact end-users
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, with demonstrated expertise in infrastructure as code development and maintenance
- Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and other infrastructure automation tools
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Solid understanding of Ruby programming language and previous experience using it for infrastructure automation
Nice to have
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python or Bash
- Knowledge of networking concepts and experience with network architecture and design
