We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and take part in an exciting project. Our client, a leading global provider of financial services, is undertaking a significant digital transformation initiative. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain IAC scripts and modules for infrastructure and application deployment and management
- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the infrastructure and services, using best practices and industry standards
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure that the infrastructure and services meet their requirements and integrate seamlessly with their workflows
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans, testing them regularly
- Participate in capacity planning and performance optimization, using monitoring and logging tools to identify and address bottlenecks and issues
- Lead and mentor junior team members, sharing knowledge and best practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions with Infrastructure as Code (IAC) using Terraform
- Experience with Agile methodologies and practices, demonstrating adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Expertise in scripting languages such as Bash, and in leveraging automation tools and frameworks
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with infrastructure testing tools such as Terratest, KitchenCI, or InSpec, showcasing a commitment to quality and testing practices
