We are seeking a remote Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will utilize your expertise in DevOps and experience in Continuous Integration Development & Maintenance to build robust and scalable infrastructure for our microservices-based applications. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our applications by monitoring and logging solutions. Additionally, you will work collaboratively with development and operations teams to implement DevOps practices in an agile environment.
Responsibilities
- Build robust and scalable infrastructure for our microservices-based applications
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to implement DevOps practices in an agile environment
- Monitor and log solutions like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack for smooth operation of our applications
- Define and provision infrastructure
- Configure and manage CI pipelines for both monoliths and the conversion towards microservices
- Implement monitoring and logging strategies for microservices-based applications
- Implement security measures within the CI/CD pipeline
- Document and share knowledge effectively
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in DevOps and Continuous Integration Development & Maintenance
- Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes for managing microservices
- Knowledge of GitHub
- Experience in scripting languages like Shell or Python and proficiency in Java programming languages
- Awareness of security practices for microservices, including container security and network security
- Experience in implementing DevOps practices in an agile environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with development and operations teams
- Upper-Intermediate level of English proficiency
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service
- Experience with Grafana, Prometheus
- Familiarity with tools like Terraform or Ansible for defining and provisioning infrastructure
