Senior DevOps engineer

DevOps, Amazon Web Services, Docker, Infrastructure as Code [Security], Spinnaker, Jenkins, Terraform

We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer with extensive knowledge of Amazon Web Services, Infrastructure as Code, and experience in building continuous delivery platforms with Spinnaker, CodeBuild, and Jenkins to join our project team. In this role, you will work with our customer's team to develop and enhance pipelines for applications, troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures, and migrate applications to Spinnaker. You will also contribute to ongoing initiatives around APM, monitoring, etc. If you are passionate about DevOps and have a strong understanding of AWS and continuous delivery platforms, we invite you to apply.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the implementation and maintenance of our AWS-based infrastructure
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement scalable and highly available systems
  • Develop and enhance pipelines for applications using Spinnaker, CodeBuild, and Jenkins
  • Troubleshoot CI/CD pipeline failures and provide solutions to ensure pipeline stability
  • Migrate applications to Spinnaker and implement continuous delivery best practices
  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives around APM, monitoring, and logging
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience with Amazon Web Services, including S3, Lambda, ECS/Fargate
  • Good working knowledge of AWS platform, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation or Terraform)
  • Experience with Docker and/or microservices architecture
  • Configuration management experience, such as Chef, Puppet, or Ansible
  • Expertise with build automation tools and continuous delivery platforms, including Spinnaker, CodeBuild, Jenkins, etc.
  • Good understanding of build-time dependency management, testing and code-coverage tools, quality control, and test automation in Agile-based Continuous Integration environments
  • Knowledge of a scripting language such as Bash, Python, or JavaScript
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
