We are currently looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team.
As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing and administering web services on Linux using Nginx, building and maintaining highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS, and implementing automation and deployment pipelines using tools like Git, T-SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes. You will also be responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting production issues, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior team members.

Responsibilities
- Manage and administer web services on Linux using Nginx, ensuring high performance and availability
- Build and maintain highly available and scalable infrastructure on AWS
- Implement automation and deployment pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot production issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement effective solutions
- Mentor and guide junior team members, fostering a positive learning environment and promoting professional growth
- Ensure continuous improvement of DevOps processes and practices, embracing new technologies and methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement infrastructure and application monitoring, alerting, and reporting
- Implement security best practices in cloud environments, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, with hands-on experience in administering web services on Linux using Nginx
- Expertise in AWS services like VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, CloudTrail, and others, with practical experience in building and maintaining highly available and scalable infrastructure
- Proficiency in Git, T-SQL, Docker, and Kubernetes for automation and deployment pipelines
- Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other collaboration tools to effectively communicate with cross-functional teams
- Deep understanding of networking concepts and Internet protocols
- Strong problem-solving and QA skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues
- At least one certification in AWS, DevOps Engineer Professional, Kubernetes, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, HashiCorp, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
- Fluent English communication skills at an advanced level, enabling clear collaboration, presentation, and discussion with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Experience with Twilio, WebRTC, Pexip for communication and collaboration solutions
- Familiarity with AlertLogic, Tripwire for security management
- Expertise in Docker, ECS, Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Experience with VMware virtualization products such as ESX or vSphere
