We are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team and work remotely. Our client is an engineering data and technology company, and as a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless collaboration between software development and IT operations teams. Responsibilities
- Collaborate with software development teams to design and implement scalable and highly available infrastructure
- Design and implement automation tools and frameworks to streamline deployment processes and improve efficiency
- Ensure security and compliance standards are met, including data privacy and protection
- Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues before they affect end-users
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members to ensure the team's success
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve technical issues related to DevOps processes
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in DevOps, identifying opportunities to improve existing processes and technologies
Requirements
- Proven 3+ experience as a DevOps Engineer in an enterprise-level organization
- Excellent knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, and firewalls
- Strong understanding of Active Directory and experience working with large-scale Active Directory environments
- Expertise in developing and maintaining infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Ansible
- Experience with microservice architecture pattern, designing and deploying microservices with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines
- Proficiency in containerization using Docker and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure DevOps and Amazon Web Services, using them for deploying and managing applications
- Expertise in Git and version control systems, ensuring efficient and effective code management practices
- Upper-Intermediate or higher English proficiency level, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience with log management and monitoring tools like ELK stack or Splunk
- Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools like Nagios, Zabbix, or Prometheus
