We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and support one of the top kitchen manufacturers in the UK. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that powers our client's applications. You will work closely with the development team to ensure that our systems are scalable, reliable, and secure. Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions to support our client's applications
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and deployment processes, using tools like Terraform and Azure DevOps
- Ensure that our systems are secure and compliant with industry standards and best practices
- Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure issues, working closely with the development team to fix problems and prevent them from happening again
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and implement DevOps processes and best practices
- Continuously improve our infrastructure and processes, exploring new tools and technologies that can help us work more efficiently and effectively
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps
- Expertise in Terraform, creating and managing infrastructure as code to support a DevOps culture
- Strong knowledge of Azure SQL Database, Azure Functions, and Azure Event Hubs, including deploying and managing these services
- Experience with Bash scripting and Linux command line, automating manual processes and tasks
- Experience with Sitecore, deploying and managing Sitecore instances in a DevOps environment
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Good spoken and written English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with Kubernetes, managing containerized applications in a production environment
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, or Azure Monitor, visualizing and analyzing infrastructure and application metrics
