We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team for the airlines' cargo handling division. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure and automation tools for our cargo handling platform. This platform is vital in ensuring the safe and efficient transportation of cargo around the world. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be working with a team of talented engineers to create and maintain a highly available and scalable platform.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain the client's CI/CD pipeline, infrastructure, and operations
- Develop automation scripts for building, testing, and deploying applications using GitOps methodologies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and ensure system reliability, scalability, and security
- Monitor infrastructure and application performance, and troubleshoot issues to improve system stability and performance
- Create and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment procedures
- Participate in on-call rotation for critical production issues
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps engineering
- Strong understanding and practical experience with CI/CD and related tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or similar tools
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, including AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, and RDS
- Adept in scripting languages like Bash and Python, and proficient in Linux command-line tools
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK stack, Grafana, or Prometheus
- Excellent communication skills in English, with an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes, and their deployment in AWS
- Experience in automating infrastructure and application deployments using Ansible or Chef
