We are looking for a highly experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work with a leading energy technology solutions company. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining the infrastructure and architecture of our client's cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure that the solutions are scalable, secure, and reliable.
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure and architecture for our client's solutions
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the development and deployment of applications
- Automate tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce errors
- Ensure the security, scalability, and reliability of the solutions
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues
- Monitor the performance and health of the infrastructure and applications, and implement improvements as needed
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in DevOps and cloud computing, and evaluate their potential impact on our client's solutions
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps, including experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation
- Strong scripting skills in Bash and Python
- Experience with containerization using Docker and container orchestration using Kubernetes
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and Terragrunt for cloud infrastructure management
- Experience with Helm for managing Kubernetes applications
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure
- Experience working in Agile environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other container orchestration tools such as Nomad or Mesos
- Experience with other infrastructure as code tools such as Ansible or Puppet
- Experience with networking and security in cloud environments
