We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and contribute to the digitalization of automation and energy management. Our client, a leader in the energy management industry, is looking to modernize their infrastructure and optimize their operations through automation and cloud technology. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining the tools and processes required for the successful deployment of software products.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, ensuring its efficiency and reliability
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to improve the SDLC process
- Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, and that it meets the client's requirements
- Automate tasks related to deployment, monitoring, and alerting using Ansible and Terraform
- Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure that the system is healthy and performant
- Troubleshoot issues related to the infrastructure, applications, and data, and provide solutions to fix them
- Implement security best practices and ensure that the system is compliant with relevant regulations and policies
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
- Expertise in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
- Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Groovy scripting languages
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
- Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools
- Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack and Prometheus
- Knowledge of machine learning and data analysis tools such as TensorFlow and Apache Spark
- Understanding of network architecture and security principles
