We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and contribute to the digitalization of automation and energy management. Our client, a leader in the energy management industry, is looking to modernize their infrastructure and optimize their operations through automation and cloud technology. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in implementing and maintaining the tools and processes required for the successful deployment of software products.

Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain the continuous integration and delivery pipeline, ensuring its efficiency and reliability
  • Collaborate with developers, testers, and other stakeholders to improve the SDLC process
  • Ensure that the infrastructure is scalable, secure, and cost-efficient, and that it meets the client's requirements
  • Automate tasks related to deployment, monitoring, and alerting using Ansible and Terraform
  • Design and implement monitoring and logging solutions to ensure that the system is healthy and performant
  • Troubleshoot issues related to the infrastructure, applications, and data, and provide solutions to fix them
  • Implement security best practices and ensure that the system is compliant with relevant regulations and policies
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Expertise in configuration management tools such as Ansible and Terraform
  • Understanding of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Proficiency in Bash, Python, and Groovy scripting languages
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps and cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Experience with Linux operating systems and command-line tools
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack and Prometheus
  • Knowledge of machine learning and data analysis tools such as TensorFlow and Apache Spark
  • Understanding of network architecture and security principles
