We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and help design and build Azure infrastructure for our customer's application stack. Our team is focused on ensuring that our customer's application is scalable, reliable, and secure. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for working with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure, and to provide guidance on best practices for infrastructure as code development and maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure according to cloud standards and future-state application requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure using infrastructure as code best practices
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members, ensuring that they are adhering to best practices for infrastructure as code development and maintenance
- Monitor and troubleshoot issues related to infrastructure and implement solutions in a timely manner
- Identify opportunities for improvement in infrastructure and automation, and develop and implement solutions to address them
- Ensure that all infrastructure is compliant with industry standards and best practices
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience working in a DevOps role, with a focus on infrastructure as code development and maintenance
- Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code development and maintenance
- Experience with Kubernetes and Docker for container orchestration and management
- Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and BitBucket for continuous integration and delivery
- Experience with Sonar, Helm, Python, and Groovy for automation and scripting
- Experience with Azure DevOps for planning, tracking, and managing work
- Strong understanding of cloud computing and cloud infrastructure services
- Excellent communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud providers such as AWS or GCP
- Experience with other container orchestration tools such as Nomad or Mesos
