Senior DevOps Engineer

Microsoft Azure, Kubernetes, Bash, Content Hub Administration, DevOps, Docker, Linux, Microservice Architecture Pattern, Python.Core, Sonar

We are looking for a remote Senior DevOps Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Azure to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement highly scalable microservices-based platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of microservice architecture, as well as experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Linux. Responsibilities
  • Design and implement microservices-based platforms on the Microsoft Azure platform
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate external data points into solutions with minimal impact
  • Develop and implement scalable, elastic microservice platforms
  • Perform unit and system testing of application code and execute implementation activities
  • Ensure implementation of SOLID principles and minimal code complexity by following appropriate coding standards
  • Coordinate with architects to understand technical designs and identify technical tasks to implement them
  • Prepare technical documentation based on architects' discussions
  • Implement and maintain security policies and troubleshoot issues on Azure
  • Integrate DevOps and Content Hub Administration best practices into the development process
  • Maximize code coverage with unit testing frameworks and perform code reviews
Requirements
  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in DevOps or similar role
  • Strong experience in Microsoft Azure administration and implementation
  • Proficient in microservice architecture pattern and its implementation
  • Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and Bash scripting
  • Strong knowledge of Content Hub Administration and DevOps
  • Experience with Linux shell scripting and Python Core
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Sonar for code quality and integration with CI/CD pipelines
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Upper-intermediate English language proficiency
Nice to have
  • Experience with Azure Service Bus architecture implementation, Docker-based solutions, Kubernetes, and blue-green deployment strategy
  • Familiarity with OAuth token-based authentication protocol and PCI and Security Coding Standards
