We are seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work with a leading US agribusiness company. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and processes that enable our client to deliver high-quality software to their customers. You will work closely with development teams and other stakeholders to identify requirements, define solutions, and implement best practices. You will also be responsible for ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of the systems you build and maintain.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure and processes for development, testing, and production environments
- Collaborate with development teams to identify and implement solutions that improve the efficiency and effectiveness of software delivery
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of the systems you build and maintain
- Implement and manage monitoring and alerting systems to detect and respond to issues in a timely manner
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior members of the DevOps team
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in DevOps, and share your knowledge with the team
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
- Expertise in Terraform and Gitlab CI for infrastructure as code and continuous integration
- Experience with web servers such as nginx and load balancers
- Expertise in Elastic Stack for log management and monitoring
- Experience with Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment
- Experience with Cognito for user authentication and authorization
- Experience with Apache Kafka for real-time data streaming and processing
- Experience with PostgreSQL for relational database management
- Experience with Amazon Web Services, including AWS Aurora, EC2 and Amazon MSK
- Excellent communication skills in English at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
- Familiarity with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Puppet
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python and Bash
