We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and take charge of creating a containerized version of an application with a CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure provisioning through Terraform.
This is a critical role where you will be working closely with developers and other cross-functional teams to deliver highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on Amazon Web Services (AWS). You must be an expert in DevOps and containerization technologies, as well as have a strong understanding of infrastructure as code and automation tools.
Responsibilities
- Create a containerized version of an application with a CI/CD pipeline and infrastructure provisioning through Terraform
- Collaborate with developers and cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and maintain highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
- Automate infrastructure and deployment processes using Ansible and other automation tools
- Monitor and improve system performance, security, and reliability through proactive maintenance and tuning
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure high-quality deliverables
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in DevOps with a strong focus on AWS, Ansible, and Terraform
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker, Fargate, EKS, and Kubernetes
- Deep understanding of infrastructure as code, automation tools, and best practices
- Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Ruby
- Experience with Linux shell scripting and command-line tools
- Excellent communication skills in English, with an upper-intermediate level or higher
