We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and create a CI/CD pipeline from scratch. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for providing necessary resources in Azure, such as VMs and KeyVault, and integrating pipelines with code quality check tools. You will also prepare the CD part, ensuring that the final stage of development is an installable product. Collaboration with the development team regarding pipeline status and health and assisting with development environment setup will also be part of your responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Create a CI/CD pipeline from scratch for Petrel Plugin development using Azure DevOps
- Provide necessary resources in Azure, such as VMs and KeyVault, for the development team
- Integrate pipelines with code quality check tools and prepare the CD part, ensuring that the final stage of development is an installable product
- Collaborate with the development team regarding pipeline status and health and assist with development environment setup
- Troubleshoot and debug issues related to pipeline automation and deployment
- Manage team members and ensure the successful completion of projects
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with expertise in Azure DevOps and Microsoft Azure
- Effective in building CI/CD pipelines for development teams and integrating pipelines with code quality check tools
- Proficiency in English
- Experience in preparing CD parts, ensuring that the final stage of development is an installable product
- Strong knowledge of Jenkins and its plugins
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug issues related to pipeline automation and deployment
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical stakeholders
- Strong team management skills for effectively leading and managing team members
- Understanding of version control systems such as Git and SVN
- Expertise in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud platforms such as AWS and Google Cloud Platform
- Familiarity with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible
