We are seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work on a self-service payment system project for our client. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for building, maintaining, and improving the infrastructure of our client's payment system, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of the system. Responsibilities
- Design and implement infrastructure for our client's payment system using IaC principles and tools
- Build and maintain containerized systems, ensuring scalability and reliability
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and security teams to ensure that our client's payment system meets security and compliance requirements
- Deploy and maintain monitoring and logging tools to ensure high availability and performance of the system
- Identify and resolve infrastructure and deployment issues, providing technical expertise and support as needed
- Assist in the implementation of migration approaches and tools, ensuring that our client's payment system is migrated efficiently and securely
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in DevOps, with a track record of developing and maintaining complex infrastructure systems
- Experience in designing and implementing infrastructure as code using Terraform
- Hands-on experience with containerization and container orchestration technologies like Docker, Helm and Kubernetes
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS), including EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and other related services
- Experience in designing and implementing continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools such as ELK, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch
- Upper-intermediate or higher level of spoken and written English
Nice to have
- Experience with other cloud providers such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP) or Microsoft Azure
- Experience with infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
- Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Perl
