We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to take ownership of our client's shipping services infrastructure remotely. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining infrastructure solutions, as well as driving automation and efficiency throughout the development process. Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure solutions for our client's shipping services
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration of infrastructure and code
  • Create and maintain monitoring and alerting systems to ensure high availability and reliability of the infrastructure
  • Ensure the security and compliance of the infrastructure, implementing best practices for security and access control
  • Continuously improve the infrastructure, identifying areas for optimization and implementing solutions
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior members of the team
  • Participate in on-call rotations to ensure 24/7 availability of the infrastructure
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in DevOps or a related field
  • Expertise in CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, Git, and Artifactory
  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring
  • Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Go, or Ruby
  • Experience with cloud operations, including AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure infrastructure solutions
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal, at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with databases, such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or MongoDB
  • Understanding of networking concepts, including DNS, load balancing, and routing
