We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and work on one of the most security-conscious financial institutions in the world. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing automated deployment and testing solutions to ensure the highest level of security and reliability is maintained. We are looking for a self-motivated and experienced individual with excellent communication skills and a passion for DevOps.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain automated deployment and testing solutions for various applications
- Collaborate with software engineers to understand requirements and provide solutions for managing infrastructure and applications
- Optimize and improve infrastructure performance, reliability and security
- Manage and monitor production systems, ensuring uptime and availability
- Identify and resolve issues related to deployment and infrastructure
- Participate in code review sessions with team members to ensure best practices are followed
- Assist in identifying and implementing new tools and technologies to improve the DevOps process
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong experience in CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code, using tools such as Terraform and Jenkins
- Solid understanding and practical experience working with containers and container orchestration systems such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture
- Proficient in Linux administration and shell scripting
- Experience with monitoring tools such as New Relic Browser and Prometheus
- Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, and VPC, applying them to DevOps tasks
- Upper-Intermediate or higher level of English proficiency, both written and spoken
Nice to have
- Experience with other container orchestration systems, such as Nomad or Mesos
- Experience with other event-driven systems, such as RabbitMQ or AWS Kinesis
