Senior Cloud Platform Developer

A global leader in transportation management, is seeking a Senior DevOps Engineer to join our remote EPAM Project Team. Our team is responsible for delivering customer solutions on the platform that is responsive, scalable, and of the highest quality. We follow the Agile development process and highly value employees who foster collaboration between team members. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and maintaining scalable enterprise systems deployed on AWS. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability for our products.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability for our products
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and deployment of software releases
  • Design and implement infrastructure as code using Terraform
  • Develop and maintain Docker images and Kubernetes manifests for container orchestration
  • Perform system administration tasks, including Linux server administration, network configuration, and security hardening
  • Provide guidance and support to junior DevOps engineers
Requirements
  • Strong system administration background, with a focus on Linux administration
  • Strong experience with AWS infrastructure and deep familiarity with its feature set, including EC2, S3, VPC, and RDS
  • Strong experience with configuration management systems, preferably Ansible, including playbook development and execution
  • Strong experience with CI/CD design, implementation, and maintenance, using tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or CircleCI
  • Strong experience with Docker containerization, including container orchestration with Kubernetes
  • Experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code
  • Familiarity with logs and monitoring systems, such as CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk
  • Fluent spoken and written English at an upper-intermediate level or higher
