Responsibilities
- Manage and enhance CI/CD processes for various applications, automating processes extensively
- Transition workloads to Azure Cloud
- Create and upkeep customer environments in Microsoft Azure Cloud
- Extend Azure DevOps capabilities through automation using Python
- Suggest improvements for IaC, Build, and release processes across multiple development teams
- Aid development teams with technical aspects of CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code
- Implement monitoring and optimize for cost efficiency and performance
- Oversee the entire release process
Requirements
- Proficiency in configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Microsoft Azure-based production systems
- Expertise in Microsoft Azure Cloud services including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Service, Azure Databases, and Azure Kubernetes Service
- Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform, ARM, or Bicep
- Understanding of Azure Networking Services, covering VNet, VWan, ExpressRoute, Gateways, DNS, Peering, Load Balancer, Firewall, NSG, WAF, Traffic Manager, AppGateway, and CDN
- Skills in performance monitoring and alerting based on “golden signals”
- Competency in Kubernetes, including microservice deployment and configuration using manifest files/HELM, autoscaling, and security concepts
- Familiarity with Azure Active Directory basics, including users and groups, and roles
- Experience in end-to-end management of CI/CD projects including developing, and building pipelines using Azure DevOps (classic and YAML)
- Implementation of Unit, Integration, Functional, and Security tests in CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of environments strategy for effective pipeline deployment
- Qualifications in scripting languages: PowerShell, Bash, Python
- Customer-oriented approach, diligent and proactive, with a focus on achieving customers' business objectives
- English proficiency for effective communication with foreign customers both orally and in writing – Intermediate+ (B1+) level and higher
- Skills in automation using Python to extend Azure DevOps capabilities
- Ability to suggest improvements for IaC, build, and release processes across multiple development teams
