Join our remote team as a highly-skilled Middle DevOps Engineer, where you will play a critical role in administering web services and developing cutting-edge cloud infrastructure and applications.

In this position, you will be responsible for maintaining and optimizing our AWS components, with practical experience in VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, and CloudTrail. Additionally, you will be responsible for administering web services on Linux using Nginx and utilizing shell scripting to automate tasks. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to the development of efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure and applications. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with networking concepts and Internet protocols and have strong problem-solving and QA skills.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop efficient and scalable cloud infrastructure and applications
  • Administer web services on Linux using Nginx and utilize shell scripting to automate tasks
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of cloud infrastructure and application development processes
  • Implement and maintain configuration management tools to automate infrastructure deployment and management
  • Collaborate with development teams to integrate automation testing into the CI/CD pipeline
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of cloud infrastructure through effective monitoring and alerting
  • Promote security and compliance best practices in cloud infrastructure and applications
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in DevOps or a similar role, working with cloud infrastructure and application development
  • Proficient in AWS services for cloud infrastructure design, deployment, and management, with practical experience in VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, and CloudTrail
  • Experience administering web services on Linux using Nginx and utilizing shell scripting to automate tasks
  • Strong knowledge of Git for version control and Python and T-SQL scripting languages for automation purposes
  • Strong understanding of high availability and scalability concepts in AWS
  • Experience with configuration management tools such as Puppet, Chef, and Ansible
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Circle CI, and/or Jenkins
  • Fluent English communication skills at an advanced level, facilitating effective collaboration and communication
  • Certification in at least one of the following: AWS, DevOps Engineer Professional, Kubernetes, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
Nice to have
  • Familiarity with Twillio, WebRTC, and Pexip for communication and collaboration solutions
  • Experience with security tools such as AlertLogic and Tripwire
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with VMware virtualization products such as ESX or vSphere
