We are looking for a skilled Middle DevOps Engineer to join our remote team, working on exciting projects that require expertise in AWS, Git, T-SQL, Docker, Kubernetes, and Twilio.

As a Middle DevOps Engineer, you will work with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring solutions that support the development and delivery of high-quality software. Your role will also entail supporting the production environment, responding to incidents, and continuously improving our systems to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement infrastructure, deployment pipelines, and monitoring solutions
  • Ensure high availability and scalability of our systems by monitoring, optimizing, and troubleshooting infrastructure and applications
  • Implement and maintain security best practices, including user management, access controls, and data protection
  • Respond to production incidents and work with teams to identify root causes and implement preventative measures
  • Continuously improve the systems by automating processes and implementing best practices for infrastructure as code
  • Document infrastructure and deployment processes for knowledge sharing and team development
Requirements
  • At least 2 years of experience in DevOps, System Administration, or a similar role
  • Expertise in AWS services, including VPC, EC2, ELB, EBS, Route53, S3, CloudTrail, and other AWS components
  • Proficiency in Git and T-SQL for version control and database management
  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of Twilio APIs and their implementation in cloud environments
  • Experience administering web services on Linux using Nginx
  • Strong scripting skills in shell scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
  • Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and other project management tools
  • Experience with Puppet, Chef, Ansible, or other configuration management tools
  • Proficiency in networking concepts and Internet protocols
  • Strong problem-solving and quality assurance skills
  • Certification in at least one of the following: AWS, DevOps Engineer Professional, Kubernetes, or HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
  • Advanced English communication skills, both written and verbal
Nice to have
  • Experience with Docker, ECS, and Kubernetes for container orchestration and management
  • Knowledge of VMware virtualization products such as ESX or vSphere
  • Familiarity with Twilio APIs, WebRTC, and Pexip for video conferencing solutions
  • Experience with security tools such as AlertLogic and Tripwire
