We are seeking a Middle DevOps Cloud Engineer to join our remote team.

You will work within product teams to deliver infrastructure and support for highly visible applications and APIs. They will turn requirements into secure, scalable, and effective infrastructure and DevOps tools, ensuring that the platform is secure, scalable, and always available.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that the platform is secure, scalable, and always available
  • Turn requirements into secure, scalable, and effective infrastructure and DevOps tools
  • Improve automation across the platform
  • Provide support and help solve complex technical problems using your technical knowledge
Requirements
  • 2+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Exposure or have worked as a DevOps/SRE Cloud Engineer 
  • Strong experience with setup, configuration, and maintenance of Cloud services
  • Proficiency with automated deployment tools and the principles of CI/CD using tools such as Jenkins, CloudFormation, CDK, Ansible, Helm etc.
  • Deep understanding of containerization and orchestration, with Kubernetes experience preferable
  • Basic understanding of database systems (Relational/NoSQL)
  • Experience in cloud design
  • Experience in system maintenance, recovery, and administration across Linux and Windows
  • Good knowledge of IT Security, particularly how it pertains to running services in the Cloud
  • Experienced user of Git with understanding of branching and Git flows
  • Scripting experience in Python, Bash, or similar
  • Solid understanding of application architectures, including Cloud Native approaches to infrastructure
  • Knowledge of Enterprise Identity Management (e.g. SSO, SAML, OpenID Connect)
  • Fluent in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code development and maintenance
