Our remote team is in need of a Lead Salesforce DevOps.
The primary duties will involve release management and continuous integration of Salesforce using Git, Copado, and other compatible DevOps tools with Salesforce Sales, Service, and Experience Cloud. The role involves working with cross-functional teams such as developers, architects, and QA engineers.
The goal is to facilitate smooth delivery of releases and make certain the release pipeline is efficient and streamlined.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the release process and ensuring all releases adhere to quality standards
- Working in tandem with cross-functional teams to ensure the release pipeline is efficient and streamlined
- Engaging with stakeholders to identify and prioritize release requirements
- Creating and maintaining release schedules, inclusive of milestones, dependencies, and deliverables
- Resolving issues related to the release process in a timely manner
- Participating in code reviews to maintain control and efficiency in the release of all code
- Keeping up to date with latest Salesforce technologies and trends
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of successful experience on Salesforce platform
- Demonstrable history of guiding and mentoring a team of engineers
- Prior enterprise experience in software consulting is favourable
- Proven ability to create a streamlined release pipeline and technical skills
- Familiarity with DevOps technologies, including Copado and Git
- Comprehensive understanding of the core Salesforce platform, encompassing Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and Experience Cloud
- Availability to work during the EST timezone
- Advanced proficiency in English, facilitating effective communication with the team and stakeholders
Nice to have
- Possession of Salesforce Administrative Certification is mandatory
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for client-facing interactions
- Prior experience with Jenkins
