We are looking for a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our remote team and take charge of designing and implementing a robust, scalable, and secure infrastructure.
You will be responsible for creating a containerized version of our application, developing a CI/CD pipeline, and provisioning infrastructure using Terraform. As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will be expected to lead the team in implementing AWS best practices, using Ansible, and Containerization. Your expertise in Linux Shell scripting and Infrastructure as Code will be instrumental in ensuring that our infrastructure is secure and scalable.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a secure, scalable, and reliable infrastructure for our application using AWS and Terraform
- Create a CI/CD pipeline, including build, test, and deployment automation
- Implement and maintain Ansible playbooks for infrastructure automation
- Containerize our application using Docker, Fargate, EKS, and Kubernetes
- Lead and mentor the DevOps team to ensure efficient delivery of infrastructure and application code
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, and product owners, to ensure seamless project delivery
- Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and best practices in DevOps
Requirements
- Extensive experience in DevOps, with a minimum of 5 years working in a similar role
- At least 1 year of experience in leading software development teams, demonstrating excellent leadership skills
- Expertise in Amazon Web Services, including EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda
- Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
- Proficiency in Ansible and Puppet, including understanding and writing puppet modules
- Hands-on experience with Containerization technologies such as Docker, Fargate, EKS, and Kubernetes
- Advanced knowledge of Linux shell scripting
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
