We are looking for a remote Lead DevOps Engineer to join our team and lead the successful execution of AWS Cloud Migration projects. Your primary focus will be to utilize your technical knowledge of AWS services to oversee the delivery of infrastructure and application pipelines using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Groovy.
Additionally, you will be leading a team of Cloud Infra engineers, ensuring the team delivers Infrastructure Pipelines and Application Pipelines. You will be required to demonstrate expertise in Cloud Migration, ensuring seamless transitions for applications and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the successful execution of AWS Cloud Migration projects
- Utilize strong technical knowledge of AWS services to make informed decisions and provide insights into workload VPCs, subnets, network FW, CloudWAN, Route 53, SG, VPN, DirectConnect, VPC endpoints, OU, SCP, Amazon Guard Duty, AWS Security Hub, AWS Config, Trusted Advisor, Lacework
- Lead a team of Cloud Infra engineers, overseeing the delivery of Infrastructure Pipelines (Terraform Modules, Ansible Playbooks, deployment and testing, Jenkins and Groovy) and Application Pipelines (Java code and configurations, deployment and testing)
- Implement and promote Code and Cloud Best Practices
- Demonstrate expertise in Cloud Migration, ensuring seamless transitions for applications and infrastructure
Requirements
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- 1+ year of proven experience leading and managing Cloud Infrastructure teams
- Extensive experience working with AWS services like EC2, autoscaling, ELB, Lambda etc.
- Proficiency in infrastructure and application pipeline development using tools like Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and Groovy
- Strong understanding of architecture blueprinting and Cloud Best Practices
- In-depth knowledge of Cloud Migration processes and methodologies
- Familiarity with Kubernetes and container orchestration
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
- B2+ English level proficiency
Nice to have
- Experience with Splunk, R, .NET application-based deployment pipeline
- Knowledge of GPC
- Experience with Linux
- Familiarity with Kong API
