We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead DevOps Engineer specializing in Azure to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will oversee our cloud-based infrastructure's development, deployment, and maintenance, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and excellent leadership skills to drive innovation and efficiency in our DevOps practices.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement Azure cloud infrastructure with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability
  • Lead the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for automated code deployment
  • Manage Kubernetes clusters, including setup, configuration, and deployment
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using Azure Log Analytics and other monitoring tools
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure alignment of DevOps strategies with business goals
  • Ensure compliance with security best practices and standards
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery and fault-tolerant systems
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior DevOps team members
  • Stay updated with emerging DevOps tools and technologies
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of system issues
Requirements
  • BA/BS Degree (4-year) in a relevant field
  • A minimum of 4-6 years of related work experience in cloud-based DevOps
  • Previous leadership experience or roles in a DevOps environment
  • Proven experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure
  • Strong understanding of DevOps fundamentals including security, scalability, and reliability
  • Experience designing cloud-based software-defined networking
  • Familiarity with fault-tolerant infrastructure designs using regions and availability zones
  • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash or PowerShell
  • Experience in programming languages like JavaScript, Ruby, Python, PHP, or C#
  • Knowledge of real-time monitoring and analytics platforms such as Azure Log Analytics or Splunk
  • Understanding of databases like Microsoft SQL or MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities
  • Results-driven mindset with reliable follow-through
  • Fluent English communication skills at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Certifications in Azure or other cloud technologies are highly desirable
  • Experience with container orchestration using Docker or similar technologies
  • Knowledge of additional monitoring tools such as New Relic or Datadog
