We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to join our remote team.
As a Lead DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for managing the development, deployment, and maintenance of our customer's applications. You will utilize your extensive knowledge of Kubernetes, Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana, and Observability to build and maintain reports and dashboards. Your proficiency in Go Language, JavaScript, and Python will also be essential for this role. You will work closely with our client and multiple teams to help with intake requests, ensuring that project objectives are met.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain advanced dashboards for service availability
- Work with multiple teams to manage intake requests and ensure objectives are met
- Update code repositories to add metadata to our telemetry for help in tooling
- Collaborate with the client to ensure project objectives are met
- Provide leadership and mentorship to junior DevOps Engineers
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of our DevOps best practices
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, with a focus on Observability engineering and troubleshooting in distributed systems
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing teams of developers, ensuring successful project outcomes
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes and its applications
- Experience with Logs, Traces, and Metrics in a production monitoring environment
- Experience with Datadog
- Ability to work as an individual contributor directly with the client
- Excellent communication skills, with at least an Upper-Intermediate level of English

- Proficiency in Golang, Python, and JavaScript
- Experience with Prometheus, and Grafana
