We are looking for a remote Lead DevOps Engineer with over 5 years of relevant work experience and at least 1 year of relevant leadership experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our company's DevOps strategy, while also managing a team of DevOps engineers.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement the organization's DevOps strategy
- Manage and mentor a team of DevOps professionals
- Collaborate with software engineering teams to optimize their build, test, and release processes
- Build and maintain the company's CI/CD pipelines
- Monitor and troubleshoot the organization's cloud infrastructure
- Continuously evaluate and implement new DevOps tools and technologies
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in a similar role
- 1+ years of relevant leadership experience
- Strong experience with Core Cloud technologies
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform and/or CloudFormation
- Strong experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible, Chef, Puppet, or SaltStack
- Proficiency in scripting with GoLang, Python, or Bash
- Experience setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, GitlabCI, or TravisCI
- Experience with both Linux and Windows administration
- Proficiency in using Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration
- Familiarity with relational databases such as Oracle and/or MySQL
- B2+ English level (CEFR)
