Lead Azure DevOps for Investment Bank

Currently, we are looking for a remote Lead Azure DevOps with 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure to join our team.

The customer is a Swiss multinational investment bank and financial services company founded and based in Switzerland. Co-headquartered in the cities of Zürich and Basel, it maintains a presence in all major financial centers as the largest Swiss banking institution in the world.

You will be working in the Cloud Team in Poland, part of a larger organization also located in Switzerland and HK.

Responsibilities
  • Work in a follow-the-sun support organization (7-19 regional support, 24/5 global support)
  • Analyze outages and defective states, initiating and monitoring measures to remedy them
  • Configure, test, and rollout in production new infrastructure and application changes via CI/CD
  • Support the deployment pipeline in regards packaging and deployment, and integration with test automation
  • Ensure production stability and performance as well as a secure infrastructure environment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to work towards global IT solutions
Requirements
  • 6+ years experience in a high-availability production environment
  • 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
  • 5+ years of experience in operating and maintaining continuous deployment/delivery solutions (Azure DevOps preferred)
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex infrastructure problems and leverage tools and resources Appropriately to identify solutions that may or may not be already documented
  • Strong experience with code and script languages to automate infrastructure/platform operations (Powershell preferred)
  • Experience in software configuration management (Ansible preferred)
  • Knowledge of DevOps and Agile principles and best practices
  • A degree in computer science, or similar professional certifications
  • A background in the financial industry or similar strongly regulated environment is a plus
  • Analytical and logical aptitude, and you can solve problems like nobody’s business
  • A good communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Motivated, flexible and self-directed
  • Fluent in English (B2+)
