We are seeking an experienced remote Chief DevOps Engineer with over 7 years of relevant work experience and 2+ years of leadership experience. The successful candidate will have an impressive track record of designing and implementing complex systems and projects from scratch.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing the implementation of DevOps best practices
- Developing and maintaining the infrastructure as code
- Leading and managing a team of DevOps engineers
- Ensuring high availability, scalability, and security of production systems
- Implementing continuous integration and deployment pipelines
- Collaborating with development teams to improve system performance and reliability
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a similar role
- 2+ years of relevant leadership experience
- 2-3 finished projects and system design and architecture from scratch
- Strong experience with Core Cloud technologies
- Strong proficiency in at least one Infrastructure as Code tool (Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, SaltStack)
- Proficiency in at least one scripting language (GoLang, Python, Bash)
- Experience setting up and maintaining Jenkins pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Experience with Jenkins and one or more CI/CD tools (Bamboo, GitlabCI, TravisCI)
- Experience with Linux and Windows administration
- Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Familiarity with Oracle and MySQL databases
- B2+ English level (CEFR)
