Solution Architect I
We are looking for a Solution Architect I to join our remote team. This role is ideal for someone adept at designing and implementing robust solutions that align with business objectives. The successful candidate will be instrumental in driving the architecture of our software projects from conception through to deployment. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the technical solutions meet both the technical and business requirements.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of complex software solutions
- Collaborate with project teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications
- Develop high-level product specifications with attention to system integration and feasibility
- Define all aspects of development from appropriate technology and workflow to coding standards
- Oversee progress of development team to ensure consistency with initial design
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and engineers
- Ensure software meets all requirements of quality, security, modifiability, extensibility, etc.
- Approve final product before launch
- Evaluate and select appropriate software or hardware and suggest integration methods
- Assess and address technical risks
Requirements
- Minimum of 7 years experience as a DevOps Engineer
- At least 2 years of experience in a leadership role managing a team of at least 5 members
- Demonstrated experience in participating in full-cycle projects or multiple projects covering different phases of the software development lifecycle
- Proficient in Amazon Web Services and its various components
- Strong understanding of Bazel including concepts such as BUILD files, rules, and targets
- Experienced with a variety of building tools used in software development
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written, at an Upper-Intermediate level or higher

- Experience with emerging cloud technologies
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning integration in architectural designs
