We are seeking a Solution Architect – Salesforce FSL to lead the architectural vision and technical evolution of our Job Center solution for a major Oil and Gas services company.

This role is pivotal in supporting both the sustainment of current operations and the transformation to a future-state platform, ensuring stability, scalability and alignment with business objectives.

Responsibilities

Lead the design and evolution of solution architecture on the Salesforce platform to support current and future transformation goals
Develop high-level technical designs for new features and enhancements with a focus on scalability, performance and reliability
Ensure all solutions adhere to Salesforce best practices, governor limits and security standards
Conduct architecture reviews and provide technical guidance and mentorship to lead engineers and development teams
Define the technical roadmap for the JobCenter solution, identifying opportunities for refactoring and improvement
Collaborate with business analysts and product owners to translate functional requirements into robust and sustainable technical designs
Manage the transition from the current system to the transformed solution, supporting both legacy and new components in parallel
Provide ongoing sustainment and operational support for the existing JobCenter solution to ensure stability and reliability

Requirements

10 to 15 years of overall experience in technology roles
Deep expertise in the Salesforce platform, including data model, security model and development capabilities such as Apex and LWC
Proven experience in Solution Architecture with a track record of designing large-scale complex Salesforce solutions
Ability to think strategically and make architectural decisions that balance short-term needs with long-term objectives
Strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences

Nice to have

Familiarity with Salesforce DevOps concepts and CI/CD pipelines
Experience with FieldFX and Salesforce Field Service
Experience in a sustainment or operations environment
