We are looking for a Solution Architect – Java Full Stack (React/Angular) to lead architecture for secure, scalable fintech systems with demanding performance and uptime goals. You will collaborate with global stakeholders to define strategy, evaluate technology options, and guide delivery using Java, Spring Boot, microservices, and modern UI stacks built with React and Angular on Azure or AWS. Responsibilities
- Design secure, scalable, and reliable software solutions that align with business requirements
- Define and execute product technology strategy with stakeholders
- Partner with senior technical and product leaders to ensure impactful, feasible designs
- Collaborate with global Solution Architecture & Engineering teams to codify principles and best practices
- Engage with broader technical and architecture organizations to align with enterprise strategies
- Develop and review technical alternatives using current and emerging technologies
- Drive software implementation leveraging microservices-based architecture for fintech applications
- Guide and mentor development teams to promote technical excellence and continuous improvement
- Coordinate with product owners and operations to keep software delivery seamless
- Encourage agile development principles and reinforce a collaborative team culture
- Create prototypes and help solve complex technical challenges hands on
- Advocate for technical quality and sustainable, future-proof solutions
Requirements
- Extensive experience designing scalable software solutions in product engineering, including 5+ years guiding architecture
- Strong knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, web applications & services, and microservices architecture
- Background delivering high-transaction-volume financial systems with global scalability and extreme uptime requirements
- Hands-on experience with HTML5, CSS, and front-end frameworks such as React and Angular
- Advanced back-end development expertise using Java, Spring, and Spring Boot
- Working knowledge of PostgreSQL or SQL Server for large-scale implementations
- Experience with cloud-native technologies such as PCF, Kubernetes, Azure, or AWS
- Ability to operate effectively in Agile environments focused on collaboration and iteration
- Proven ability to mentor development teams and build continuous technical improvement habits
- Flexibility to contribute through hands-on prototype development when solving business challenges
- Strong communication skills for bridging technical and non-technical audiences
Nice to have
- Experience across Java, J2EE, RESTful APIs, React, and Angular
- Knowledge of Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Hibernate
- Familiarity with API tooling and design best practices for large-scale systems
- Understanding of cloud and DevOps architecture, particularly with Azure or AWS
- Experience with PostgreSQL and NoSQL databases
