We are seeking a Senior Systems Engineer - GCP to join our team and drive the design, implementation and maintenance of robust cloud infrastructure for our data mesh architecture project.
This role requires deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform, DevOps practices and automation to ensure scalable, secure and reliable cloud solutions.
Responsibilities
- Design, configure and maintain the GCP environment for the data mesh architecture project
- Develop and maintain infrastructure using an Infrastructure as Code approach on GCP
- Create CI/CD pipelines and automation with cloud-specific deployment models using GitHub Actions
- Collaborate with various teams to define cloud infrastructure requirements and ensure scalability, security and reliability of the GCP platform
- Develop and implement continuous integration and deployment pipelines using DevOps principles
- Create and maintain documentation related to the GCP infrastructure and deployments
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues or performance bottlenecks related to the GCP platform
Requirements
- 5-8 years of working experience in systems engineering or related fields
- Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and its services including compute, storage and networking
- Knowledge of GCP security features and best practices
- Proficiency in DevOps practices and tools including continuous integration and deployment
- Skills in designing and implementing cloud infrastructure using GCP
- Capability to troubleshoot complex issues in a timely manner
- Background in developing and maintaining infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code approaches
- Competency in creating CI/CD pipelines and automation with GitHub Actions
- Understanding of documentation practices for cloud infrastructure and deployments
