We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our team, responsible for Linux administration and ensuring the reliability, security, and compliance of our systems. If you have a solid background in managing Linux environments, troubleshooting, and collaborating across teams, this is the role for you.

Responsibilities

Patch underlying infrastructure and validate server-level and platform health
Validate patches daily and monitor server health to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot issues in real-time and provide timely resolutions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve problems
Maintain compliance with organizational policies and industry regulations
Collaborate with global teams to ensure smooth operations across offshore and onshore units
Document processes, update technical reports, and contribute to improving system workflows
Administer Java-based application services, supporting SSL and mTLS implementations
Develop and execute Bash scripts for automation and optimization
Provide expertise in system performance tuning and preventive maintenance

Requirements

6+ years of general IT experience and at least 3+ years of experience in Linux administration
Expertise in Linux administration, Bash scripting, and troubleshooting Java-based application services
Proficiency in SSL and mTLS, with an understanding of their implementation and management
Familiarity with Azure cloud platforms
Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with global teams and stakeholders
Skills in creating clear documentation and technical reporting
Capability to work efficiently in cross-functional environments and collaborate with offshore and onshore teams
English language proficiency at an Upper-Intermediate level (B2) or higher

Nice to have

Knowledge of Python for automation and scripting
Competency in Ansible for configuration management
Showcase of Terraform experience for infrastructure as code
