We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager with deep expertise in medical imaging to lead the design, development, and delivery of transformative healthcare solutions. This role requires a strong understanding of the medical imaging domain, including regulatory requirements, and involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful execution of innovative and compliant products.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to align product requirements with the needs of medical imaging and clinical trial environments
- Oversee the creation of user stories, product requirements, and features that support market demands and roadmap objectives
- Collaborate with Agile teams, Product Managers, and SMEs to deliver cutting-edge medical imaging solutions
- Lead the entire product lifecycle process, from conceptual design to system testing and deployment
- Guide and mentor Product Owners and team members to drive excellence in requirements development and product delivery
- Ensure compliance with medical imaging standards (DICOM, PACS, RIS) and regulatory requirements for clinical settings
- Monitor market trends and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product improvement or innovation
- Oversee risk management strategies related to product development and deployment
- Optimize processes for product definition, delivery, and integration with Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD practices
- Collaborate with geographically dispersed teams to deliver projects efficiently and on schedule
- Effectively communicate technical solutions and complex concepts to clients and stakeholders across the organization
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as business, science, or a related discipline
- 15+ years of general IT experience
- 6+ years of experience in managing technology product definitions and successful Agile IT/technology delivery
- 6+ years of direct experience in medical imaging, involving the development, deployment, or management of products and solutions
- Expertise in medical imaging standards and technologies, including DICOM, PACS, and RIS, as well as regulatory standards in clinical environments
- Competency in Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and CI/CD processes
- Experience creating and managing medical devices, workflows, and integration in clinical environments
- Qualifications in Business Analysis Practice (IIBA/IREB or equivalent) or process documentation tools like BPMN
- Familiarity with medical data management systems, data transfer, and storage platforms aligned with industry standards
- Extensive experience collaborating on the entire project lifecycle, operating in varying stages of system testing and design
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to simplify complex solutions for various audiences
- Capability to work collaboratively across dispersed geographical teams and influence decision-making at all organizational levels
- Understanding of clinical environments and related IT systems with a focus on medical imaging workflows
- Showcase of negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and client relationship management skills
- Fluency in English (both written and spoken) at a minimum B2 level
Nice to have
- Experience with GMP, GCP, 21 CFR Part 11, MDD and familiarity with Medical Device Consultant training
- Capability to create medical data documentation for standards like CE marketing or FDA 510(k) compliance processes
- Advanced training in risk management techniques related to healthcare products
- Familiarity with application lifecycle management (ALM) tools
- Proficiency in medical device-related technologies and certifications
