We are seeking a Senior Mobile Automation Test Engineer with Appium to join our team and drive the quality of our mobile applications across iOS and Android platforms. This role requires deep expertise in automation frameworks, strong programming skills and the ability to work independently on complex testing challenges.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain automation frameworks for both iOS and Android platforms
Ensure robust automation testing using Appium with minimal supervision
Implement BDD frameworks utilizing Cucumber or Gherkin
Design and execute API automation tests with SOAPUI, Postman or RestAssured
Collaborate with development and QA teams to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins
Apply strong Core Java and Java 8 skills to build scalable test solutions
Utilize Selenium for web automation tasks as required
Support the adoption of new testing concepts and tools with minimal guidance
Apply basic Unix/Linux commands for test environment management

Requirements

6-9 years of overall experience in automation testing
Strong background in Core Java and Java 8
Expertise in mobile automation for both iOS and Android
Proficiency in Appium and Selenium
Skills in API testing automation with SOAPUI, Postman or RestAssured
Competency in implementing BDD with Cucumber or Gherkin
Experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes
Knowledge of basic Unix/Linux commands

Nice to have

Understanding of Swagger
Familiarity with Docker
