We're seeking a Senior/Lead Solution Architect with strong Node.js expertise to join our expanding team in India and craft innovative solutions for clients worldwide. This position involves leading the design and delivery of scalable, high-performance solutions while collaborating with clients and internal teams. Your expertise will guide enterprise technology from initial pre-sales through final deployment.
Responsibilities
- Establish and execute backend architecture using Node.js and associated frameworks, fulfilling architecturally significant requirements (ASRs)
- Offer hands-on technical mentorship to the development team, including peer programming, while promoting best practices, coding standards, and design patterns
- Perform code reviews and uphold quality benchmarks to ensure the codebase remains secure, efficient, and maintainable
- Partner with front-end engineers, DevOps teams, and other stakeholders to deliver comprehensive full-stack solutions
- Detect and resolve performance issues while optimizing applications for speed and responsiveness
- Establish and maintain security protocols, authentication systems, and data protection measures
- Resolve complex technical issues throughout the application stack in a timely manner
- Take an active, leading role in architecture conversations and customer-facing engagements
Requirements
- 18-27 years of IT experience with a solid foundation in solution architecture
- Strong command of JavaScript and Node.js, with thorough knowledge of the event loop, asynchronous patterns, and module systems
- Hands-on experience with Node.js frameworks like Express.js and other related libraries
- Capability to design and build both RESTful and GraphQL APIs
- Understanding of SQL and NoSQL database systems including PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and DynamoDB
- Working knowledge of Git, CI/CD workflows, and version control standards
- Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and various debugging tools
- Familiarity with security protocols, authentication approaches like OAuth and JWT, and data protection methods
- Extensive background building cloud-native applications on AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Solid analytical and troubleshooting abilities to systematically resolve performance challenges
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with fluent English proficiency
- Proven track record mentoring and coaching development team members
