We are seeking a Senior Developer - Zuora to join our team and drive the design, development and optimization of Zuora-based billing solutions.

This role involves collaborating with stakeholders, leading technical initiatives and ensuring the reliability and scalability of Zuora implementations.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Business Operations, Finance and Business Analysts to gather and understand business requirements
Design and enhance workflows to meet evolving business needs
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner
Implement performance improvements to ensure optimal system performance
Support the DevOps team in automating Zuora deployments and ensuring successful changes to production
Develop and maintain technical documentation related to Zuora implementations and changes
Conduct code reviews and provide technical guidance to junior developers
Stay up to date with the latest developments in Zuora and related technologies
Participate in regular meetings with stakeholders to discuss project progress, issues and solutions
Manage a small team and coordinate deliverables
Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and clarity
Deliver solutions with minimal supervision

Requirements

5-8 years of experience in system development, testing and deployment
Knowledge of Zuora platform, Zuora Admin, Zuora objects and APIs
Expertise in Product Catalog, Charge Models and Zuora Invoice template creation and updating
Background in payments, bill runs, billing document posting, Invoice, Credit Memo and HTML templates
Skills in Zuora Order line-item feature, including creation and invoicing of order line items
Proficiency in subscription lifecycle management such as create, update, renew and cancel
Competency in reconciliations and troubleshooting for month end processes
Capability to mass create, update or delete multiple objects
Experience with developer tools and Postman tools
Qualifications in integrating Zuora with ecommerce, payment gateways, data analytics platforms and tax systems
Familiarity with integrations around Zuora with Salesforce, Zuora APIs and Payment Gateways
Zuora Workflow experience to automate and enhance workflows
In-depth knowledge of admin features and setups including roles, permissions and billing templates
Understanding of troubleshooting and resolving issues related to Zuora configurations, integrations and data flows
Showcase of creating and maintaining technical documentation such as design specifications, test plans and user guides
Flexibility to provide support and training to end-users and stakeholders on Zuora functionalities and best practices
Awareness of Zuora product updates and industry trends to ensure optimal system performance
