We are seeking an experienced Project/Delivery Manager to lead application development and modernization initiatives within the insurance sector, specifically focusing on General, Life and P&C Insurance. This role requires a strong background in software development, exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills and the ability to deliver complex projects in a dynamic environment.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate the preparation of customer proposals and statements of work
- Deliver customer projects successfully
- Manage customer expectations and relationship
- Ensure that projects are delivered in line with EPAM process and methodologies
- Address customer issues during an engagement in cooperation with the Account Manager
- Make sure that the customer executes their responsibilities on the engagements
- Identify and manage engagement risks and flag major issues early
- Participate in overall project management, time estimation and resource scheduling
- Prepare estimations on time frames, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully implement projects; develop the project plan incorporating all project variables
- Establish criteria concerning deliverability, performance, maintenance, design and costs
- Assist in analysing client processes through needs analysis and recommending new business models, workflows or innovative solutions
Requirements
- 11-16 years of overall working experience
- Background in managing Application Development, Application Modernization or Application Migration projects in P&C, Life or General Insurance
- Experience in General, Life or P&C Insurance domains
- Started career in software development
- Excellent communication, presentation and planning skills
- Exceptional organizational, leadership and stakeholder management skills
- Self-motivated, multitasking, reliable to deliver on time, quick-thinker, able to work in a fast-paced work environment
