We are seeking a Lead Software Engineer to architect and ship full-stack solutions built on .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS. You will own technical delivery, produce architecture artifacts, and champion AI Native Engineering and agentic implementations with Microsoft tools alongside a collaborative team. Responsibilities
- Architect scalable full-stack systems using .NET, Microsoft Azure, and ReactJS
- Own technical delivery of user stories from estimation through implementation and deployment
- Align with stakeholders to gather business needs and convert them into technical requirements
- Document solution design through clear technical artifacts and supporting documentation
- Lead and mentor engineers through each phase of the software development lifecycle
- Champion AI-native practices within the software development lifecycle and team process
- Implement agentic solutions using Microsoft AI tools
- Develop and maintain backend services, including SQL-based data solutions on Microsoft SQL Server
- Apply Microsoft Azure Functions and Durable Functions to build cloud-based solutions
Requirements
- 9+ years of full-stack engineering experience working with .NET, Microsoft Azure, and React
- Strong backend expertise, including SQL development with Microsoft SQL Server
- Proficiency in architecture design, technical planning, and solution structuring
- Experience leading engineering teams and communicating effectively with stakeholders
- Hands-on knowledge of Microsoft Azure services, specifically Functions and Durable Functions
- Familiarity with AI SDLC practices and applying them across the SDLC
- Understanding of agentic solution implementation using Microsoft tools
Nice to have
- Domain knowledge of the Insurance value chain from submission to policy issuance, including quoting and binding
- Familiarity with specialty Excess products including Excess Casualty, Professional Liability, Medical Liability, Products, and Contractors
- Background in Actuarial reserving
