We're growing our team and looking to bring on a UX Designer to help drive this work forward. Turn creative vision and experience-focused direction into workable UI specifications and prototypes designed for use in Unreal Engine production settings. This position functions as the bridge between design intent and engineering follow-through, laying out interaction flows, behavioral rules, navigation architecture, and component structures that hold up dependably across various platforms and input methods.

Responsibilities
  • Define UI flows, user journeys, and interaction patterns for in-game screens and features, converting them into development-ready specifications
  • Establish and steadily expand a flexible UI component library that includes patterns, components, variants, and states to preserve consistency throughout design execution
  • Assemble thorough behavioral documentation covering focus and navigation order, back-navigation mechanics, anticipated input responses, error/empty/loading states, and other edge-case situations
  • Sustain close, continuous collaboration with client-side engineers and UI artists to ensure that designs remain achievable, performant, and unified once built into the engine
  • Guide ongoing refinement cycles by assessing completed builds, delivering hands-on feedback, and adapting designs to reflect technical constraints and outcomes from playtesting or QA activities
Requirements
  • At least two years of practical experience founded on solid UI/UX skills, demonstrated through shipping digital products or gaming interfaces
  • Broad proficiency in Figma, spanning components, variants, auto-layout, reusable libraries, and documentation ready for engineering handoff
  • Skilled in creating implementation-ready deliverables, including annotated screen layouts, interaction summaries, state diagrams, and clearly defined acceptance criteria
  • Hands-on understanding of the specific limitations and workflows associated with building UI inside Unreal Engine
  • Familiarity with core UMG principles, such as layout, anchoring, scaling, and widget states/animations, enough to design realistically within engine boundaries
  • Knowledge of focus-based navigation systems along with the ability to accommodate multiple input methods, including controller and keyboard/mouse
  • Proven experience designing UI that adjusts correctly across different resolutions, aspect ratios, and safe-area needs
  • Sufficient communication skills combined with English fluency at B2 level or above, supporting clear understanding of business needs and their conversion into agentic architectures
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of Unreal-specific UI framework conventions, including screen stacks, activatable views, and common navigation techniques
  • Experience accounting for localization needs within design, such as text expansion handling, truncation, and flexible layout approaches
  • Consideration for accessibility and readability elements, including contrast, font sizing, and interfaces suited for couch-distance viewing
  • Experience working on live products characterized by rapid iteration and frequent release cycles
  • Basic familiarity with AI Assistant tools
  • Previous experience within the Gaming sector
