We are seeking a skilled and passionate Unity Developer to join our remote team and work on our exciting project.
As a Unity Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining the SDK, which supports both C++ and Unity engines. You will also be implementing and optimizing various features and functionalities related to promotions, commerce, identity, telemetry, and more. You will collaborate with a globally distributed team of developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the SDK, which supports both C++ and Unity engines
- Implement and optimize various features and functionalities related to promotions, commerce, identity, telemetry, and more
- Collaborate with a globally distributed team of developers, QA engineers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions
- Participate in code reviews and ensure that the codebase is maintainable, scalable, and performant
- Contribute to the overall success of the project and its alignment with the Horizon release milestones
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of professional experience in C++ and Unity development
- Strong expertise in game development, with a strong understanding of game engines, rendering pipelines, and performance optimization techniques
- Experience with console development (PlayStation 4/5, Xbox One X, Nintendo)
- Knowledge of build systems, continuous integration, and deployment processes
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and practices
- Passion for gaming and a deep understanding of player experiences and expectations
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently on well-defined tasks
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools (e.g., Slack, JIRA)
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed team environment
- Fluent English at a B2+ level or higher
