We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to design and maintain robust end-to-end testing solutions across UI and API layers, ensuring the quality and reliability of complex distributed systems.

Responsibilities
  • Design and maintain automated tests for web UI and API layers using modern E2E frameworks
  • Build and execute performance testing scenarios to validate system scalability and reliability
  • Integrate automated test suites into CI pipelines, manage failing builds, artifacts, flaky tests, and quality gates
  • Analyze system architecture and service boundaries to design comprehensive test strategies beyond UI scripts
  • Document clear and actionable defect reports, including expected vs actual results, supporting evidence, and severity aligned with business impact
  • Leverage AI-based tools to generate and enhance test creation workflows
  • Collaborate with development teams to identify testing gaps and improve overall test coverage
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience in software testing with hands-on test automation
  • Proficiency in TypeScript and modern E2E frameworks, with strong preference for Playwright, including experience testing sync and async APIs
  • Demonstrable experience in performance testing, with K6 preferred
  • Familiarity with CI tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
  • Understanding of software architecture and service boundaries to inform test design
  • Skills in creating tests using AI tools such as Cursor, GHCP, Codex, or Claude Code
  • Proficiency in English at a B2+ level
Nice to have
  • Background in K6 for production use, including distributed load generators
  • Knowledge of golden-file, characterization, or snapshot testing techniques
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes-deployed systems and OpenTelemetry or similar observability tools
