Solution Architect with AWS for a Financial Services Company

We're looking for a remote Solution Architect with strong experience in Java development, good knowledge of AWS and experience in microservices architecture and infrastructure to join our team.
The customer is one of the world’s largest providers of financial markets data and infrastructure, serving over 40,000 institutions in approximately 190 countries. It provides leading data and insights, trading platforms, and open data and technology platforms that connect a thriving global financial markets community - driving performance in trading, investment, wealth management, regulatory compliance, market data management, enterprise risk, and fighting financial crime.
Responsibilities
- Provide ownership and supervision of technical decisions, supporting Dante team in solving Database (SQL Server) Issues - including replication and DB Performances Analysis/improvements
- Perform assessment of existing architecture and technical solutions to plan transition from TR to EPAM team
- Design new application integration points based on Web Services technologies REST, SOAP, etc.
- Agreed high level architecture and design with client architecture team
- Ensure application architecture is consistent with AWS best practices and client guidelines
- Interact with Product management team on client side
Requirements
- 5+ years of previous experience in development and operations, or related IT, computer, or operations field
- Strong experience in Java development
- Experience in microservices architecture and infrastructure
- Good knowledge of AWS (Lambda, VPC, EC2, Cloud Formation, Code Pipeline)
- Experience with J2EE (Spring)
- Experience in definition of content structure, metadata, taxonomy
- SQL Server (or other Enterprise RDBMS) knowledge
