We are looking for an experienced Solution Architect (.NET) to join our remote team and lead the creation and implementation of technical solutions aligned with our organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software architecture, advanced technical skills, and a commitment to designing scalable and dependable systems. This role will involve collaboration with various teams to ensure the effective delivery of projects, high-quality standards, and optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Design architecture solutions leveraging .NET technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to determine business needs and develop actionable technical strategies
- Facilitate technical design conversations to ensure alignment with architectural best practices and organizational standards
- Provide direction to development teams, encouraging adherence to architectural principles and efficient workflows
- Review code to ensure compliance with quality and consistency standards
- Adapt and integrate new technologies and systems into current environments
- Analyze system performance to identify opportunities for improvements and apply solutions
- Define and implement technical strategies in line with project objectives
- Keep up-to-date with emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Ensure secure systems implementation and compliance with data protection measures
Requirements
- A minimum of 5 years of IT experience with a focus on .NET architecture
- At least 2 years of experience leading teams of five or more in technical or management roles
- Prior involvement in completing two full project lifecycles or contributing to phases across diverse development projects
- Expertise in system and solution architecture design
- Proven ability to provide technical leadership and direction to teams
- Background in software engineering specializing in .NET technologies
- Competency in creating Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and delivering accurate project estimates
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS) with familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
- Proficiency in ASP.NET (including MVC), WCF, and WPF/Prism frameworks
- Knowledge of middleware solutions such as RabbitMQ, Tibco, or IBM MQ
- Thorough understanding of RESTful APIs and related implementations
- Proven skills in Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and code quality practices
- Capability to independently develop and test features using defined test cases
- Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English
Nice to have
- Background in cloud platforms, particularly Azure or AWS
- Qualifications in architectural frameworks, including TOGAF, EACOE, or other methodologies
- Understanding of Agile development principles and methodologies
- Skills in conducting technical workshops and delivering training sessions
