We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect (.NET) to join our remote team and contribute to the development and implementation of technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of software architecture, strong technical proficiency, and a passion for building scalable and dependable systems. In this role, you will collaborate across teams to ensure effective project delivery while upholding high-quality standards and optimal system performance.
Responsibilities
- Develop architecture solutions leveraging .NET technologies
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and convert them into actionable technical plans
- Facilitate technical design discussions to ensure adherence to global architectural standards and best practices
- Guide development teams, encouraging compliance with architectural principles and efficient workflows
- Perform code reviews to maintain quality, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards
- Integrate new technologies and systems into current environments efficiently
- Analyze system performance to identify optimization opportunities and implement enhancements
- Define and implement technical strategies aligned with organizational goals for project execution
- Remain informed about emerging technologies, tools, and industry trends
- Ensure systems are secure and compliant with data protection protocols
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT with a focus on .NET architecture
- Leadership experience in managing teams of five or more in technical or managerial roles
- Involvement in two end-to-end project lifecycles or diverse projects across multiple development phases
- Understanding of system and solution architecture design
- Background in providing technical leadership to teams
- Competency in software engineering with expertise in .NET technologies
- Proficiency in developing Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and creating precise project estimates
- Advanced knowledge of MS SQL Server (including SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS), plus familiarity with NoSQL databases like MongoDB or Redis
- Skills in ASP.NET frameworks (including MVC), WCF, and WPF/Prism
- Knowledge of middleware solutions such as RabbitMQ, Tibco, or IBM MQ
- Understanding of RESTful APIs and their implementation
- Capability to apply Test-Driven Development (TDD), CI/CD pipelines, and uphold code quality practices
- Flexibility to independently develop and test features using defined test cases
- Qualifications in written and spoken English communication
Nice to have
- Background in cloud platforms like Azure or AWS
- Certifications in architectural frameworks such as TOGAF, EACOE, or similar methodologies
- Understanding of Agile development principles and approaches
- Competency in conducting technical workshops and delivering training sessions
